(16-251) 2016 Framework for Existing Dwelling External Window and Door Replacement

Tender description

Fingal County Council intends to establish a framework for the replacement of external windows and doors to existing dwellings in the Fingal administrative area. The framework will be established with a maximum of five contractors based on the most economically advantageous tenders received for this tender. This Phase 1 tender is for window and door replacement to 150 number, generally two, three and four bed existing Council dwellings, to be completed within a contract period of 120 calendar days, predominantly in the Whitestown estate. The framework will also cover existing group housing schemes and individual dwellings. Minimum qualification criteria apply for submission of a tender. Proposed applicants must demonstrate that they are competent and experienced window & external door replacement contractors with a track record in multiple window and external door replacement contracts in occupied dwellings and have successfully completed similar type works (to that proposed in this contract), in scale, quality, complexity and time frame, within the last five years.
