APPROVED LIST OF CONTRACTORS FOR ACCESS EQUIPMENT AS ADAPTATIONS IN DOMESTIC PROPERTIES

Tender description

The approved contractors should be capable of carrying out all aspects regarding the supply and installation of specialist access equipment as identified by Occupational Therapists for persons with disabilities - as listed below. Works may comprise of the following examples: • Works to Harrogate Borough Council owned Social Dwellings • Works to Privately occupied dwellings, including Landlord or rented accommodation within the Harrogate and surrounding areas. All trades must cover, but are not limited to the following: • Supply and installation of through floor access lifts and step lifts, • Supply and installation of stair lifts, • Supply and installation of automated hoists • Contractors must have appropriate memberships of approved bodies. The approved list will be used for procurements with estimated values up to £150,000. Those bidders awarded a place on the approved list will be invited to submit prices for specific projects as they arise.
