Hire of passenger transport vehicles with driver

Achieving for Children (AfC) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations to establish a long-term partnership agreement for its home to school transport Service. Contractors will be responsible for providing suitable vehicles (including wheelchair accessible) and suitably trained and experienced drivers and passenger assistants. The service requirements are to provide a transport service in Kingston area for approximately 200 pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and disabilities within the Borough. Achieving for Children (AfC) is looking to establish a long-term partnership agreement with a suitable provider for its home to school transport Service. The Contract will be awarded in January 2019, to commence service on 5.4.2019. The contract is for a period of up to 10 years with a possible extension of up to 5 years till 31.3.2034, subject to performance and need for the service. The service requirements are to provide a home to school transport service for Kingston children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and disabilities within the Borough. The children will be transported from Homes, collection points, special schools, special units and respite care.
