South Downs Way- Reconstruction Works 2018

Tender description

There are five separate reconstruction projects along the South Downs Way National Trail (SDW), four of which are surface improvements and drainage projects, and one flight of steps to replace. All projects will take place on Public Rights of Way. This has been separated into five separate Lots which are: Lot 1: Plumpton Plain (Public Bridleways: PLU/42a, PLU/42b, PLU/43c and ECH/32a). Location: This section of the SDW and runs east to west, south of Plumpton village, East Sussex. Grid Ref =TQ360126. Lot 2: Edburton Hill and Perching Hill and section between Perching Hill & Fulking Hill (Public Bridleway Fulking 1F) Location: Edburton Hill, Upper Beeding, West Sussex and Perching Hill, Fulking, West Sussex. Grid Reference:=TQ244109 Lot 3: Pen Hill (Public Bridleway Elsted 848) Location: Pen Hill, above Elsted village, West Sussex. Grid Reference: SU 812 182 Lot 4: Ditchling Beacon (Public Bridleway DIT/56b) Location: Public Bridleway (Dit/56b), 370 metres west of Ditchling Beacon car park, off of the Ditchling road.
