External Works to Bournemouth Borough Council Properties

Tender description

The Council requires a supplier to undertake external works to Bournemouth Borough Council Properties including the replacement, repair and construction of external built elements including; external surfaces, concrete repair, walls, drainage and minor building projects on a planned program. Please see the specification for the full scope of the works that the supplier may be required to undertake during the term of the contract. Work will be assigned from a database of scheduled works with individual properties grouped by address to maximise the available workforce and material efficiencies. The works are to be undertaken within the Borough of Bournemouth within a 10-mile radius of Bournemouth Town Hall. It is estimated that the contract value could be up to £450,000 per annum. The Council does not guarantee this amount or any value per annum for this contract as it is subject to the works required during the year. Suppliers should note that there is no guaranteed contract value when submitting their tender. The length of the contract is for two years with the option to extend the contract annually for a further two years. Therefore, if all extensions were taken, the full length of the contract would be for four years.
