The purpose of this PIN notice is to notify the market that suitably qualified and experienced providers / provider partnerships will be invited to provide proposals for the provision of a development and support programme for the National Institute for Health Research to improve the quality of health research leadership. The procurement documents will be published on the Due North e-tender portal at the end of June 2018. The purpose of this PIN notice is to notify the market that suitably qualified and experienced providers / provider partnerships will be invited to provide proposals for the provision of a development and support programme for the National Institute for Health Research to improve the quality of health research leadership. The programme should offer an innovative and blended approach to learning and be focused on developing leadership capabilities needed to meet current and future challenges in the health and social care landscape. The programme should be geographically accessible for participants, and complement other leadership development programmes currently offered within the NHS system and by higher education institutions. The procurement process is being led by Leeds Teaching Hospitals however the NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre will be involved in the evaluation process and will be a named entity within the resultant contracts. Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre are jointly referred to as “The Authorities”. It is anticipated the resultant contracts will commence 1.1.2019 for a period of 3 years. The procurement documents will be published on the Due North e-tender portal at the end of June 2018.
