Tender description

To award a contract to Glendale Transport Ltd to increase the frequency of the Ledsham Road Number 6 bus service from a 30 minutes per hour service to a 20 minute per hour service. This extension fulfils a S106 development condition. The existing Number 6 service is managed as a commercial route by Glendale Transport Ltd. Glendale Transport Ltd is the only operator registered to run service 6. Therefore a procurement exercise is not appropriate in this case. Money will be released after Glenvale Transport Ltd sign a ‘Commuted Sum Agreement’ which is will be drafted by the Council’s legal department. The contract will be for 1 year plus option to extend 4 x 1 years, total 5 years.
