Construction of 3.6km of rural all-purpose single (S2) carriageway between the existing A49/ B4399 junction, and the existing A465 to the south of Hereford, then extending a further 0.5km to the west to join the B4349 (Clehonger Road). 8 highway structures comprising 3 underpasses; 3 culverts, 1 overbridge and 1 (Cardiff to Hereford) railway underbridge.
