Tender description

A performance specification is provided to enable the appointed Electrical and Mechanical Services Contractor to provide a full design, installation, supply, and setting to work, testing, and commissioning of the complete mechanical and electrical services works described as listed below The full electrical design will be the Contractors responsibility to meet the performance specification requirements consisting of: - • Electrical switchgear and distribution system • Method of wiring • Internal and external lighting • Emergency lighting • Small power • Fire alarm systems • CCTV alarm systems • Access control • Commissioning and certification These are to be provided in accordance with set standards and statutory legislation which is also set out within the performance specification. The electrical contractor will also be expected to provide risk assessments and method statements for these services.
