Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) will shortly be tendering for the provision of supplementary vehicle painting services to run in parallel with its own in house production facility. In advance of the tender, IÉ are seeking to engage in a market consultation process to understand the capabilities from within the marketplace so that the final agreed technical specification and contract scope are fully aligned with best industry practice. There are 2 documents attached to the PIN: 1) draft technical specification, and 2) market engagement consultation sheet. Companies are requested to make their submissions using the “Market Engagement Consultation Sheet”. Companies are also requested to use the “Draft Technical Specification” as guide to understand (a) IE's requirement; and (b) establish the current proposed procurement strategy.
