Mechanical Contractors for Durham County Council. The works will involve minor works. The main users of the Framework Agreement will be Direct Services as part of the Regeneration and Local Services Directorate andwill be available for use by any Durham County Council Service Grouping subject to approval by the Head of Direct Services. This Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council on behalf of itself and other entities wherethey have entered into a Service Level Agreement with Durham County Council: — Academy Schools in County Durham and Darlington, — Maintained Schools in County Durham and Darlington, — County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, — Durham Constabulary and the Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner, — Parish Councils and Town Councils in County Durham. The Council makes no guarantee that they will be awarded any call off and no guarantee is in respect of any volume of work. Therefore Durham County Council are looking to implement a framework of commercial Mechanical contractors for works on both existing and new build premises for a range of Council owned properties. The work could involve projects on various premises including for example industrial units, schools, academies and any other educational and Council buildings, leisure centres and County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue. Please note that the majority of the works would be carried out as part of larger projects managed by Building and Facilities Management, Durham County Council, who would act as the main contractor. Please note the majority of the works to be carried out are anticipated to be works not exceeding the value of 200 000 GBP per project.This Invitation to Tender is issued under an open process with no prior shortlisting. Following this tender exercise a maximum number of three bidders, who achieve the highest weighted tender score over 60 % will be awarded the Framework.
