Tender description

The Contracting entity seeks to procure the services of a suitably competent Economic operator to carry out full turnkey replacement of Looped services (where 2 properties share a single electricity service cable) to customers’ properties. This will include assessing the requirements of each location by meeting with each customer at their property, planning and executing all works associated with the replacement of the looped service. In accordance with the Contracting entity’s regulatory investment plans the Economic operator is required to carry out the least cost, technically acceptable works to deliver the replacement of services associated with existing looped services. Providing a high level of customer engagement and an excellent customer experience is key to delivering this programme of works. The framework agreement will require full turnkey delivery for the replacement of identified Looped services comprising of the following service areas: — Liaising with NIE networks to ascertain work locations (NIE Networks will provide the information to the successful contractor of where looped services exist), — Full customer management including agreement of programmed works at each customer property and the management of customer information fully in compliance with General data protection regulations, — Full site inspection and job planning detailing agreed works to be carried out at each property, — End to end management and execution of all the following work activities at each customer property as required: —— Civil works. —— Excavation and reinstatement. —— Building works. —— Electrical work activities. —— Cable jointing activities. — Complete customer feedback surveys as part of the works at all locations, — Develop and update records database to provide traceability for all work locations, — Photographic evidence of the asset before and after works, with a hyperlink to the database, — Report regular progress to NIE Networks’ contracts manager on formally on a monthly basis, — Carry out joint inspections of works as requested by the Contract manager.
