Hire of passenger transport vehicles with driver

Tender description

The London Borough of Bexley is undertaking an open single-stage procurement process to identify transport providers who are able to provide transportation of school age children from schools within the London Borough of Bexley to 3 swimming centres located within the London Borough of Bexley. The service covers the 3 school terms with schools being allocated a slot at the swimming centre for a school term. The provider will transport pupils on a weekly basis from their respective school to the designated swimming centre for the duration of the school term. The service covers the 3 school terms with schools being allocated a slot at the swimming centre for a school term. The provider will transport pupils on a weekly basis from their respective school to the designated swimming centre for the duration of the school term. The contract will run initially for a period of 3 years covering the school year from September 2018 — July 2021 with the option to extend by a further 2 years to July 2023. The maximum contract length is 5 years. The potential value of this contract based on those schools buying into this contract is approximately 100 000 GBP per annum. Total value of this contract is therefore approximately 500 000 GBP.
