Tender description
Hertfordshire County Council (the "Council") is procuring a contractor to construct the A120 Bypass (Little Hadham) and Flood Alleviation Scheme. Further information in regards to this opportunity can be found in II.2.4) Description of the procurement field (OJEU Contract Notice refers) and full information is provided with the SQ and Tender Document. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to "express interest" which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. Please see VI.3) Additional information for further information. Any questions relating to this procurement must be made via the correspondence area in the e-Tendering system, in accordance with the procurement documents and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above. The scheme is a joint proposal by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), the Employer, as the highway authority, and the Environment Agency (EA). The intention is to let a single contract to build the combined bypass and flood alleviation scheme. The Employer has responsibility for the majority of the design of the works which has been undertaken by Opus Arup JV. An Industry Briefing regarding the Tender will take place on Monday 29 January 2018, registration 13:00 start 13:30 anticipated to be finished by 16:30. —this will take place at Hertfordshire Development Centre, Robertson House, 6 Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG1 2FQ — booking deadline Monday 22 January. Booking form included with the other documentation in Supply Hertfordshire. A Pre-procurement Market Engagement (PPME) exercise and Industry Day was held in September 2016, Output from the PPME in the Tender Documents. For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated value of the Contract will be approximately between £ 22 000 000.00 and £ 28 000 000.00. Organisations should be aware that due to the nature of the Works provided, any Contract formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed. Organisations should seek independent legal advice on the implications of this prior to submitting their bid, where appropriate. This procurement is not being divided into Lots because the Council requires a single contractor to deliver this project.
