Garras School Drainage Works

Tender description

The works involve providing separate foul and surface water drainage systems with the former discharging to a package treatment plant and the latter to attenuation storage, both then discharge to a small watercourse on the southern boundary of the school. The Contractor is to work with the Employer and Others to provide adequate site infrastructure and management systems to allow the works to progress safely and efficiently including, but not limited to, the provision of: • Site compound • Welfare facilities • Access routes During construction of the works the existing drainage system must be kept operational until the new system is ready to accept flow. The Contractor shall be aware that the school will be occupied for a period of the works and interaction with stakeholders and staff will be required during this time.
