Tender description

Motor vehicles. Motor vehicles for the transport of 10 or more persons. Motor vehicles for the transport of fewer than 10 persons. The Authority has a requirement for the provision of White Fleet vehicles — including Coaches — in multiple locations throughout Oman. The proposed contract shall be for a period of one (1) year commencing 1.7.2018 and ending 30.6.2019 with the option to extend for up to 6 months. This requirement has been broken down into a total of 9 Lots based on location: — Lot 1 Duqm, — Lot 2 Mussanah, — Lot 3 RAO Shafa Camp, — Lot 4 RAFO Thummrait Camp, — Lot 5 Murtafaat Al Matar, — Lot 6 Muscat Airport, — Lot 7 Adam, — Lot 8 Ras Bin Tawt, — Lot 9 All Locations. It is the Authority’s aspiration to place one contract for all requirements, however it is recognised that better value for money may be achieved by placing contracts with different companies for the above Lots. Expressions Of Interest (EOIs) can therefore be submitted for all Lots or for individual Lots. If a company wishes to Bid for the entire requirement they should use ‘Lot 9 — All Locations’. The Authority would be happy to consider company’s acting alone or working together in a partnering or joint venture arrangement. Within a 12 month period it is estimated that a total of approximately 322 hire vehicles shall be required, although these figures may fluctuate in accordance with demand. EOIs must clearly state which Lots a company is expressing an interest in and must contain details of your company to include the following information: — Company point of contact details for future correspondence (e-mail, telephone, postal address, web site), — Company registration details. In order to express an interest in this tender and for access to the Statement of Requirement please ensure you are registered as a Supplier on Defence Contracts Online (https://www.contracts.mod.uk). Expressions of interest and the required Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) are to be submitted in English, by 1600 UK TIME on 27.4.2018. Any expressions of interest received after this time and date will not be considered. Please note only those who pass the PQQ shall be invited to tender (PQQ Access Code SS487893Q3).
