Tender description
STFC ISIS is the world's most successful pulsed spallation neutron source. The Control room have been running the accelerator for 36 years 24/7 ensuring the parameters are within specification and the machine is operated efficiently and safely. The Control room has a paper log recording all details of operation, general, scheduled and faults, the lost time (downtime) is transferred and recorded on a database manually. The purpose of this tender is to procure an Electronic log system to replace the paper log and integrate and collate all machine data to provide a concise and detailed report of machine statistics.
