Tender description

Colchester Borough Council for itself and its wholly owned bodies wishes to set up a DPS (approved list) to commission works that may include the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of domestic, industrial and commercial mechanical services within Colchester Borough Council's social housing stock, corporate /civic and operational property portfolio. The value is based on the totality of projects to be commissioned during the life time of the DPS. Works commissioned will include the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of domestic, industrial and commercial mechanical services within Colchester Borough Council's social housing stock, corporate, operational and investment properties. Mechanical services works will include, but are not limited to the following: — heating including gas and oil fired LTHW radiator, fan convector and underfloor systems, — direct gas fired and indirect warm air heating systems, — direct gas fired radiant tube heating systems, — ground source heat pumps, — biomass boilers, — air conditioning, — mechanical ventilation including ductwork, — domestic hot and cold water, — solar thermal, — above ground drainage, — sprinkler systems, — rainwater systems, — combined heat and power, — grey water harvesting, — offsite prefabrication.
