Improvements to Shower Facilities, Football Pavilion, Poringland

Tender description

Poringland Parish Council invites tenders to move the shower area in the Football Pavilion at The Footpath, Poringland, Norfolk NR14 7RF. The existing shower area will be converted to storage for the youth football team, and the existing youth changing rooms will be converted to en suite shower areas for the home and away teams. Improvements are also required for the referees facilities. Contractors should note that this scheme is part of a wider plan to install a new gas fired heating system into the Pavilion, and the specification for that project has stated that the boiler must be capable of powering the new shower areas. That work is not included within this specification, but is available for tender as an independent project with the same deadlines. Although the two schemes are interlinked, they are not dependent on each other. The Parish Council has funding for the heating scheme and will be expecting works to take place during the school summer holidays in 2018. Grant funding will be required for the shower area project, and contractors should allow validity time within their quotations for funding applications to be made.
