Tender description

The Environment Agency is a Category 1 Responder organisation (as defined within the Civil Contingencies Act 2004). We require Incident Management Training delivery — Design and delivery of bespoke training to build knowledge, skills and capabilities,Develop of materials to support new ways of working and new tools as they develop, Consultancy in relation to training development and delivery. — Exercising: Design and develop exercising material to maintain levels of preparedness, Facilitation, Consultancy in relation to exercising development and delivery, — Business Continuity: Provision of Business Continuity advice into design and delivery working with the Training and Exercising suppliers, Delivery of Business Continuity training and exercising in its own right, Advising the organisation on its Business Continuity Plans. We are looking for new approaches to ensure our staff are capable and confident in their roles. The training needs to cover Tactical, Operational and Strategic roles. These roles mirror our command and control structure which is used throughout. Category 1 and 2 multi-agency arena (across the board). This lot is concerned with putting the training into practice and testing our response structures, models, plans and procedures. Response plans may vary by area however we will publish Major Incident Plans (MIPS) as part of the tender to provide context to our requirements. These requirements are varied in that we will require the successful supplier to work with the training and exercising suppliers as well as development and training on BCM in its own right. We will use the Lot 3 supplier to provide advice on and test our BCM structures and procedures.
