Tender description

Installation of a new FRP footbridge complete with parapet system supplied by the client. The construction of the two concrete abutments and ramps and fencing associated with joining the existing footpaths on either side of the river. Removing surfacing on east side of existing road bridge and replacing with granite setts, preparing and painting parapet. East Row, Sandsend carries the A174 over East Row Beck, approximately 5km north of Whitby. The new footbridge is to be sited approximately 10m downstream of East Row Road Bridge. The area is a designated Conservation Area.
