Tender description

Cornwall Council is seeking to appoint contractors to a Framework Agreement. The Framework agreement shall consist of 1 lot of up to 6 contractors aiming to deliver Construction Works over a term of 4 years, commencing April 2018. The Framework is aimed at principal contractors who are able to deliver a range of works and service over all of Cornwall Council property types. The Framework shall appoint up to 6 contractors who shall deliverer Construction Contracts with a value of up to 2 000 000 GBP within the County of Cornwall and Plymouth. These contracts are primarily for works but may contain discrete Contractor design portions. The Works shall comprise building and construction works including new build, extensions and refurbishments or works of a similar nature. Call offs under the framework will be on the basis of either; mini competition or direct award, the process of selecting mini competition or direct award is outlined in the procurement documents available at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk. Those appointed to the Framework may be asked to provide works and services to all departments and wholly owned companies of The Cornwall Council and potentially to other public sector bodies ("Other Organisations") in Cornwall.
