Tender description

It is intended that the contract will commence in July 2017, and subject to annual reviews run for a period of 2 years with the option for an extension of a further 2 single years. The maximum duration of the contract is 4 years. The annual estimated value for the works is 4 000 000 GBP with up to an additional 1 500 000 GBP per annum for capital works. The contract services and works can include but are not restricted to maintenance and compliancy services and any associated works including Gas servicing, electrical testing and repairs, lift maintenance, water hygiene management, fire safety, CCTV, door entry systems, specialist equipment servicing (Aids and Adaptations), Fall Arrest and Prevention servicing, Lightning protection, Renewable technologies servicing and Warden Call systems. The successful Service Provider shall deliver a high quality service offering value for money to residents providing secure continuous improvements across all works and services. As part of this contract the Service Provider may be required to work in partnership with other Service Providers, Stakeholders and Consultants employed by the Client. The Contract is not being divided into Lots as the Contracting Authority believes that the Contract will be best delivered and managed by one single Economic Operator and it is believed will achieve better value for money by appointing one Service Provider. This is largely due to the nature of the services being tendered for.
