Tender description
1. Introduction 1.1 Barnsley Council are seeking to appoint a contractor to convert 2 existing MOT test lanes to Automated Test Lanes (ATL). Existing roller break testers and diesel/petrol emissions machines will be retained and are not part of this tender. 1.2 The tender selection process will be a quality/cost comparison scoring system. 2. Basic Specification 2.1 Please see attached documents. 2.2 It will be necessary for a site survey to be conducted before the end of the tender process in order to tender a price for groundworks/alterations 3. Method Statement 3.1 Please provide a method statement detailing how the works will be carried out in accordance with all relevant legislation including dealing with any hazardous materials and/or waste.
