Locksbrook Road Depot - Main Contractor

Tender description

Bath & North East Somerset Council are seeking planning permission for a new Street Cleansing Depot on Locksbrook Road. The new depot is to maintain the invaluable street cleansing service to the residents and visitors of Bath. The existing street cleansing facilities are sited on part of the Council’s Midland Road depot which is allocated for housing through the Bath Western Riverside development. The remaining waste collection, disposal and the public recycling centre at Midland Road are not part of this relocation to the Locksbrook Road site. The proposed site will only facilitate the street cleansing operations. The development includes the construction of a new office building, secure gates, parking depot, road sweeper bay, waste storage skips, wash down area, secure storage containers, security fencing, bike storage and litter netting all of which will be located within the existing site boundary of the vacated former coach park.
