Tender description
Quotations are invited for the provision of a mobile ice-cream van at two of Rushcliffe Borough Council’s annual summer events, Lark in the Park and Proms in the Park. Lark in the Park Lark in the Park is Nottinghamshire’s biggest free event to mark National Play Day and the Borough Council’s oldest and most popular event (marking 29 years in 2017) It regularly draws in over 5000 visitors. It takes place annually on the first Wednesday in August from 10am – 4pm in Bridgford Park, West Bridgford. Proms in the Park Proms in the Park was established by Rushcliffe Borough Council in 2010 as a celebration of National Armed Forces Day. As well as live music, the event also features charity displays, market stalls and various family activities. An ice-cream vendor has been operation successfully at both events since they first started. We are now re-tendering the pitch for a period of three years from April 2017 onwards.
