Notice for Expression of interest, for internal refurbishment and minor external remodelling works to Block G an existing building in order to provide temporary general teaching accommodation. There is also to be minor internal remodelling of 1 room in Block F. Both buildings are a part of Compass School Southwark located on Drummond Road, Southwark, London, SE16 2BT. Compass Schools Trust is seeking a suitable contractor to carry out internal refurbishment of Block G a three storey building, for Compass School to temporarily occupy, there are likely to be additional WC's added to this, the knocking down of a stud wall, and all rooms are to be refurbished. Externally there is to be a remodel likely with the addition of a football pitch, flower bed areas, making good of a fence, removal of a hoarding and the addition of a hoarding. In Block F there is likely to be a remodel of a reception area into a small grab and go area for hot food and dining space. Address of Site: Compass School Southwark located on Drummond Road, Southwark, London, SE16 2BT. Compass School Southwark is a 600 place secondary school with a 100 place sixth form. Both buildings are thought to be built in the 1960's and were previously Lewisham College. The Ground floor of Block G is approximately 305m², the first floor is approximately 305m² and the second floor is approximately 384 m². The room in Block F is approximately 78m². The construction works will be procured directly by the Education Funding Agency and managed by its appointed Technical Advisor, Mace Ltd. The work will be contracted under a JCT Intermediate Building Contract 2011 and EFA schedule of amendments.
