Tender description

AECOM has been commissioned by the ESFA to manage the procurement for the provision of temporary accommodation (double classroom block with WCs), for September 2018 intake, at Turner Free School in Folkestone. The site is located at on the forma Pent Valley school site, Surrenden Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT19 4ED The works comprise of (but not limited to):- 1) Prepare and submit the required Planning application 2) Develop detailed contractors Proposals for construction 3) Stakeholder and client engagement meetings. 4) The required Ground works for placing the modular in the required location 5) Reconfiguration works of an existing sports block 6) Check of existing statutory services and undertake connections as appropriate to existing services. 7) Review fire strategies. 8) Works to comply with relevant standards to enable building control sign-off. 9) Removal of modular once no longer required. The above works are to be delivered via a JCT Intermediate Standard Form of Contract incorporating ESFA Standard Amendments.
