Tender description

East Dorset District Council (EDDC) owns areas of footway between the highway and private properties in Ferndown Town centre and West Moors Village Centre. These areas are currently surfaced with modular paving. EDDC have inspected these footway areas and have prioritised two areas where the footway needs repaving. The two areas are Victoria Road, Ferndown and Station Road, West Moors. This contract is to repave these footway areas which have failed. Victoria Road footway paving works have failed at the crossover area and the other area the existing paving has failed and the levels have fallen. Station Road footway paving works have failed at 2 crossover points. For all the areas, works involve taking up existing slabs and strengthening the areas by increasing the strength of the footway build ups and relaying new slabs. Tenderers must upload and submit Supplier Response Documents electronically via www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk Note that you must upload your documents and then submit your documents. If you upload your documents but fail to "Submit" them, the Authority will not receive them and they will not be considered during the evaluation stage.
