Tender description

Leicestershire County Council (the Council) owns a site of approximately 9 acres on the Interlink Industrial Park within North West Leicestershire. The site could be developed out into any combination of plot sizes, but a minimum size of 1 acre plots would be anticipated. The appointed developer or developers will build out and find an end tenant user, for the site. The aim of the Council is to gain the maximum value from the development. To assess the value from the proposals, the Council will take account of the design, build and associated fee costs and time-scales to receive an income in order to calculate the return on investment. The Council are therefore inviting interested developers to put forward a proposal containing ideas for the site with a secured tenant in place who will be capable of taking a lease of the property upon completion of the building. Refer to II.1.4. Short description for further information. The decision to whether the procurement will be divided into lots will depend on the proposals received. The final closing date for proposal submission is 12:00 noon, 31 January 2018. The proposal must be submitted via EastMidsTenders, in English and in a Microsoft Word or PDF format.
