Tender description

The Corporate Officer of the House of Commons and the Corporate Officer of the House of Lords (the Authority) requires a number of suppliers for the provision of a framework for a wide range of Bread, Bakery and Frozen Patisserie supplies, to be sold in its catering venues throughout the parliamentary estate. The framework will be split into a number of lots covering but not limited to, the following areas. Standard fresh breads and bakery items Frozen patisserie and afternoon tea pastries Artisan bread loaves and rolls Frozen bread and Bakery items Frozen pastries and Morning Goods. The Authority intends to appoint a number of suppliers for each Lot for this framework contract. The approximate annual spend is estimated to be GBP 210 000 per annum. The framework agreement will be for a period of 4 years. The Authority shall only appoint suppliers who can demonstrate that they have the ability to supply the services identified in the requirement, in the most economically advantageous way. The Authority expects to hold market engagement seminars, therefore if you are interested in attending then please submit an expression of interest through Intend before Jan 8th, any further correspondence will be after this date. The Invitation to Tender document is expected to be published by the end of Quarter 1, 2018 and the contract awarded 5.2018. Please note these dates may change.
