Tender description
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) are seeking tenders from suppliers for the for the provision of services for a) maintenance of community equipment and b) the provision of minor adaptations from 1.8.2017. Lot 1 PPM and Breakdown This refers to the service and maintenance required for the upkeep of the loaned community equipment required for beds, mattresses and hoisting equipment. It includes, but is not limited to: i. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) — inc. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and manufacturer service maintenance. ii. Breakdown Call-out Service — in and out of hours cover for high risk equipment. iii. Maintenance of Overhead Hoists and tracking. Lot 2 — Provision of Minor Adaptations. Minor adaptations covers the small changes (under 1 000 GBP) made to a Service User's home. This includes installation of items such as grab rails, fixed toilet frames, second stairway rails and basic telecare equipment, installation / removal of overhead hoists and installation/removal of temporary ramping.
