HS2 Ltd is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway project known as High Speed 2. HS2 Ltd, on behalf of the Contracting Authority comprising Network Rail Infrastructure Limited and the Secretary of State for Transport, is developing options for the procurement of a Master Development Partner (MDP) at Euston Station. The Contracting Authority will be confirmed in any formal call for competition. It is currently intended to formally commence the procurement in Spring 2017, subject to the statements/conditions contained in VI.3) Additional information. HS2 Ltd invites economic operators and interested parties to view a memorandum of project information through the following link: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/EustonOSD This link also permits registration to receive any further updates and to provide structured feedback on the opportunity. The deadline for structured feedback is Friday 24.2.2017. It is intended for the MDP to contract with the Contracting Authority and to work collaboratively with the local community and relevant stakeholders to: — Optimise/influence the design of the new HS2 Euston terminus and potentially, in time, the NRIL station at Euston to maximise the potential for over site development above and around the stations; — Facilitate a comprehensive master planning exercise and obtain the necessary planning permissions/consents through the various phases of the development; and — Funding/financing/development of the consented scheme(s). Details of the scope of the contract to be awarded as a result of this procurement is under development and will be identified in the relevant contract notice. The intention is to procure the MDP on the basis of a proven track record, the capacity, capability and appropriate financial standing to deliver the size and scale of the potential development and regeneration opportunity at Euston.
