NH wishes to set up a framework agreement with 4 contractors for lift refurbishment works, The term of the framework will be 4 years from the commencement date. Contracts will be called off the framework as and when required and there is no guarantee of work. Network Homes is committed to improving the reliability and quality of its lift portfolio and as such is planning to spend in the region of up-to 2 000 000 GBP per year for the next 4 years on the refurbishment of its lift portfolio. The expanding lift portfolio currently comprises in excess of 200 lifts and is constantly growing. The number of lift refurbishment projects to be undertaken is likely to be 3 - 5 per year and each project will include up to 6 lifts. The lift projects are likely to be based within the London area but there will be some that are based in Hertfordshire. The Hertfordshire projects will generally be smaller which reflects the number of lifts in the area.
