Tender description

The Contract is for a number of component replacement and cyclical/planned maintenance works to a mix of existing, ‘general needs’ dwellings within a purpose-built, mid-1990s social housing scheme. within the Waterside area of the City of Derry. The package of multi-element improvements proposed comprises kitchen replacement works (inc. M&E), external cyclical redecoration works — including the identification and implementation of necessary pre-paint repair works, overhaul of the scheme's current uPVC-framed double glazing, the removal and replacement of the vast majority of the scheme's existing external doorsets throughout, the provision of anew door-entry/intercom system (where required) to serve the scheme's upper-storey apartments, rainwater goods clearance & essential repair works, as well as refurbishment of the internal communal areas serving the 3 apartment blocks within the scheme.
