Tender description

Carriageway planing and resurfacing. Plane off 110mm of existing bituminous surfacing and reinstate using the following method: Provide and lay 60mm of 20mm DAC HDM binder course Provide and lay 50mm of 55/14 WTR2 high stone content asphalt surface course Remove 340m of channel kerbs and replace with surfacing material. New thermoplastic road markings shall be applied throughout the extents of the scheme. Ironworks shall be adjusted (if necessary) to suit carriageway levels or as directed by the engineer Due to the location of the scheme the work shall be carried out during the evenings. A full road closure will be in place for the duration if the works.
