Tender description
This Supplier Selection Questionnaire (SSQ) relates to a project to construct a long stay coach park within the Odd Down Park and Ride site in Bath. The site will be used by tour operators who are required to drop-off and pick-up visitors within Bath city centre. This scheme will be located within the existing overflow area at the Council’s Odd Down Park and Ride Site and will provide parking for 29 coaches. The scheme design has been developed and completed in consultation with B&NES Parking Services, B&NES highways and other key stakeholders. It includes the parking area itself as well as landscaping, lighting, vehicle counting, foul drainage and potable water provision. One key component of the works is that the Park and Ride site will need to remain operational throughout, so this project will need to plan the phasing around this requirement.
