Tender description

Hertsmere Borough Council and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Councils are adjacent second tier councils situated in the County of Hertfordshire. Both councils have ambitious construction plans over the forthcoming years and are seeking to expedite the procurement process by having a number of framework contractors who will be required to undertake a mini competition process each time a construction partner is required. The tender process is split into 2 Lots: 1) Lot 1 — Construction value: 250 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP 2) Lot 2 — Construction value: Greater than 1 000 000 GBP Bidders may apply for either or both of the Lots. Three companies will be appointed as Framework Providers for each Lot. There will also be 2 reserve bidders for each Lot who will replace the Framework Providers in the event of circumstances such as poor performance, failure to secure and work and failure to bid. Construction value: 250 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP. Construction value: Greater than 1 000 000 GBP.
