Provision of Coach and Chauffeuring Hire

Tender description

The University of Birmingham has requirement for Coach and Chauffeuring Hire services for internal customers and students. The purpose of this competitive tender is to establish a Framework Agreement with suitably qualified Supplier(s) for these services ensuring that best practice, quality control, value for money and the safety of the passengers are adhered to by the successful Supplier(s). The requirement shall be split into 2 LOTs, Suppliers can either submit tender responses for one or both LOTs. All submissions must clearly state which LOT(s) they are tendering for. Lot 1 - Coach Hire The requirement is varied and forms an extremely important service to the Students, Budget Centres and Academics. The main requirement shall be for one day or weekend Student trips, collecting from the University of Birmingham campus to locations throughout the UK. Lot 2 - Chauffeur Hire The requirement forms an extremely important service to the University's Academics and VIPs, guests and colleagues. The successful Supplier(s) will be required to provide services to a professional standard at all times. The University is seeking competitive tenders from suitably qualified Services Providers with the aim of establishing an agreement with a provider(s) to supply a first class and cost effective service for the University.
