Tender description

The Guildhall complex is located off St Helens Square, York, and lies between Lendal and the River Ouse. It is surrounded by existing buildings which are owned / occupied by a number of tenants to the North West, North, North East and South East, with the River Ouse to the South. The works involves partial demolition of the North Annex and construction of a new building to provide a new Restaurant (fitted as shell & core) and office space, refurbishment of the Guildhall, demolition and reconstruction of the South Range to provide a new café along with the provision of a new internal corridor formed between the Guildhall and South Range which shall provide a new primary route of access to the development, and the refurbishment of the Municipal Offices and Tower block to provide a business club and office space.
