Bread products, fresh pastry goods and cakes

Tender description

Tenders are invited by the Council from Tenderers with relevant experience able to demonstrate sufficient capacity and skill for the provision the Goods (bread and other allied products). The Customer is inviting Tenders from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to provide for the supply and delivery of Bread and other allied products (the ‘Goods’), to various locations and establishments throughout Kirklees. The successful Tenderer must be able to deliver all of the Customer's requirements, as listed in the General Specification. Direct delivery to customer premises of a range of products including but not limited to: — Freshly baked bread; — Freshly baked bakery goods. The products supplied under this agreement are required to meet UK legislative standards. Products must comply with the following Guidelines or equivalent standards: — The Bread and Flour Regulations 1998 (SI 1998/141 as amended) 1; — EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation (EU FIC) 2014; — The Miscellaneous Food Additives (Amendment) Regulations 1999 (SI 1995/3187 as amended) 3; — Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods.
