Tender description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council on behalf of the Northern Ireland Councils invites competent and experienced Service Providers to submit a Tender for the provision of the Transportation and Care of Animals identified in the course of investigations and related activities under the Welfare of Animals Act (NI) 2011. This Tender is divided in to 2 Lots: LOT A The Care & Collection of Large Animals including horses, donkeys, pet goats, potbelly pigs, etc LOT B for the Care and Collection of Small Animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc This contract is on an as required basis and does not guarantee any work for the appointed provider. LOT A The Care & Collection of Large Animals including horses, donkeys, pet goats, potbelly pigs, etc & LOT B for the Care and Collection of Small Animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc This contract is on an ‘as required’ basis and does not guarantee any work for the appointed provider. The Contract duration will be 1 year from date of award with an option to extend for an additional 12 month period at the discretion of the Council. This procurement is led by Fermanagh & Omagh District Council on behalf of the following Council Areas: Western Region — Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Derry City & Strabane District Council, Mid Ulster District Council Northern Region — Mid & East Antrim Borough Council, Causeway, Coast & Glens Borough Council, Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council Southern Region — Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council, Newry, Mourne & Down District Council Belfast City Council & Eastern Region — Belfast City Council, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Ards & North Down Borough Council.
