Tender description

This scheme involves the refurbishment of 10 National Road Bridges, located on the N13, N15 and N56 in County Donegal. The bridge structures Include: N13 Meenavoy Clapper Bridge, N13 Tircallan Culvert, N15 Donnaghmore Glebe, N15 Liscooley East Bridge, N15 Liscooley Bridge, N15 Kiltown Bridge, N15 Finn Bridge, N56 Mullanieran Bridge, N56 Hydro Race Bridge, and N56 Sandhill Bridge The Bridge Rehabilitation Scheme is to involve the undertaking of the following works: • Bridge deck slab strengthening/rehabilitation/replacement; • Concrete abutment construction; • Creation of temporary river channel diversions & subsequent • reinstatement works; • Installation of precast concrete box culverts; • Steel predestrain/cycle bridge constuction; • Scour Protection; • Upgrading masonry bridge parapets; • Masonry clad concrete parapets; • Metal parapet installation; • Installation of safety barriers; • Masonry repointing and repairs; • Bridge deck waterproofing; • Masonry arch waterproofing; • Piling; • Concrete rubbing strips and footpaths - hardstandings; • Reinstatement of excavated bituminous surfaces, including kebing • works; • Diversion of services adjacent to the bridges; and • Temporary Traffic Management
