Tender description
The contract is for the appointment of a Civil Engineering Design and Build Contractor to provide Civil Engineering and Design services for the Knockmore to Lurgan Track Ballast Rehabilitation Project to support the Translink Infrastructure Division. The Design and Build Contractor is envisaged to undertake detailed design of the following elements, design of embankment stability proposals to receive arisings/life expired ballast from the course of the ballast cleaning works, culvert extension works, relocation of S and C Unit at Moira Station, design of cess walkways where conditions permit, design of track lowering in areas where conditions permit, design of track alignment, logistics planning, materials handling, ballast rehabilitation using ballast cleaning methodologies, management and utilisation and operation of On Track Machinery vehicles offered or provided by NIR, development and implementation of Possession Management Strategy in conjunction with NIR stakeholders to ensure w.
