Cork Airport, located approximately 8kms from Cork City, is the international gateway to the south of Ireland and Ireland's second busiest airport after Dublin Airport with 40 schedule destinations on offer. Cork Airport completed the modernisation of the Food and Beverage offers earlier this year and as part of the Cork Airport Passenger Journey Improvement Plan strategy (PJIP) for improving the passenger journey at Cork Airport phase 2 will see the rejuvenation of the retail offers as part of the general facilities upgrade. Cork Airport is now looking for interest from prospective Retailers to manage and operate a Convenience/Delicatessen Outlet (Unit 1.3). Total 2016 sales were 970 000 EUR for the Convenience Outlet which closed in February of this year. It is expected that the tender period will be 5 years.
