Sowerby Gateway Junction Improvement

Tender description

Taylor Wimpey Ltd. (TW) \"the Contracting Authority\" wish to let a contract for the works of the Sowerby Gateway Junction Improvement Scheme, involving the upgrade of an existing junction at the A168 / B1448 interchange approximately 2.5km to the south of Thirsk and also the provision of new signage in the surrounding area. The improvement works comprise of the construction of new slip roads and roundabouts to allow all direction access to the A168 from the B1448. Ancillary works include utility diversions, drainage, earthworks, street lighting, hardstandings, footpaths, hard and soft landscaping and improvements and alterations to the signage surrounding Thirsk.
