Tender description

Within the next 6 months, Manchester Airport Group (MAG) will be re-tendering all Car Rental Concessions located at the on-site Car Rental Villages at Manchester and East Midlands Airports. Manchester Airport is forecast to handle over 27 000 000 passengers in the next 12 months, a figure which has continually grown since 2010. The Car Rental Village, which is located within the airport campus, has also continually grown since its creation in 2012, and now handles over 200,000 transactions per year. East Midlands Airport is forecast to handle over 5 000 000 passengers in the next 12 months and has seen continuous growth over the past 2 years. The Car Rental Village, which is now located within the airport campus via a bus link, now handles over 40 000 transactions per year. The award of these concession contracts is expected in January 2018, with successful concessions trading from 1.4.2018 (MAN) and 1.5.2018 (EMA). It is anticipated that a Pre-Qualification process will take place through the Achilles Utilities Database (UVDB). It is then anticipated that this will be followed by a subsequent Invitation to Negotiate. Interested parties must complete their registration on the Achilles UVDB by Friday 1.9.2017.
