Tender description

Nottingham City Homes invites tenders for the provision of CRM New Build Groundworks. Nottingham City Homes wishes to develop a Framework Agreement with one or more Contractors for the provision of Groundwork Services. The proposed Contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 year(s). Anticipated requirements are based on current work plans. The volume and type of work may change due to changes in Government Housing policies and available funding. The award of a Call-off Contract under this Framework Agreement will be made on the basis of Rates submitted, where possible. For more complex requirements, NCH will conduct Mini-Competitions. The sites of the proposed works are situated within the city of Nottingham. The Successful Contractor(s) shall be responsible for all aspects of groundworks and foundation construction: To include for, but by no means limited to; — Site clearance, — Perimeter safety fencing, — Initial site strip, cut and fill, — Piling (if required), — Foundation excavation, — Ring-beams, — Foundation concrete, — Substructure, — Floor slabs, — Domestic foul and storm drainage, — Road and sewers construction, — Service utility excavation, — Lay and backfill, — Through to finished external hard and soft works. To include for ALL necessary plant, equipment, labour and supervision, together with ALL necessary materials required to undertake and construct these elements within the scheme as per the Working Drawings issued and to comply with current UK Building Regulations, CSH Level-4, PART-M and the requirements of Lifetime Homes.
