Tender description

Ipswich Borough Council (Contracting Authority) are currently out to tender for the provision of regeneration of the Cornhill in Ipswich. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to choose at time of evaluation which Option will be progressed/awarded — Option 1 being The Cornhill (only), Option 2 being The Cornhill and Princes Street and the Lloyds Arc/Debenhams colonnade in Ipswich. The Contracting Authority's decision at the time being on the necessary secured funding arrangement being in place or anticipated as being in place prior to the award of Contract. The works comprise of the removal and replacement of paved surface areas, balustrade and steps, seating, landscaping, drainage, service diversions, new MEP installations, feature lighting, contemporary ‘four figures’ sculpture and the design and installation of a water feature. This Lot incorporate the Cornhill, Princes Street and Lloyds Arch/Debenhams Colonnade in Ipswich. This scheme is subject to sufficient funding being made available. The works comprise of the removal and replacement of paved surface areas, balustrade and steps, seating, landscaping, drainage, service diversions, new MEP installations, feature lighting, contemporary ‘four figures’ sculpture and the design and installation of a water feature.
