Tender description
Harwich International Port Limited (“HIP”) is seeking suitable Contractors to participate in the tender for the construction of a new Trailer Park at the Port. The requirement will be to provide circa 9,000 square meters of heavy duty paving with new boundary fencing. In developing the area the contractor will also need to demolish reinforced contract slabs and reduction of reinforced concrete piles of a former workshop building. The removal of rail sidings and reinforced concrete crane beam and reduction of associated piles of the foundations of a former RMG Crane. There will also be a requirement for further civils works in the removal of traffic islands, kerbings and the construction of a heavy duty road and footpath. Ancillary works of white line painting and surface water drainage to connect the existing sewer will also be required. Keywords: construction, civil, demolition
